Become a CDAC Network member
Our membership comprises media development organisations, UN agencies, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, NGOs and specialist communications entities – all determined to enable and support dialogue with and between communities and those responsible for longer-term humanitarian and development nexus commitments, both government and non-governmental. CDAC’s diverse membership energises and enables this to happen both at the local and global level.
Together, we:
Advocate for communication and engagement with communities as an essential component of humanitarian preparedness, response and recovery.
Champion systemic change to ensure communication and community engagement are prioritised, integrated and resourced across the humanitarian system.
Support better action on the ground by staying at the cutting edge of innovations in media development, telecommunications and digital tools.
Influence the sector to move beyond data collection of affected people’s needs towards enabling collective, timely, two-way communication that empowers people to make informed decisions.
Share knowledge, with CDAC serving as a neutral platform for open and honest dialogue between diverse organisations working towards the same goals.
Member organisations have access to:
Knowledge-sharing and collaboration across a network of global organisations working towards the same goals
Community of practice meetings
Member Advisory Group meetings
CDAC’s Annual General Assembly and Public Forum
Regular updates on CCEA news and opportunities from across the Network
